She played the cult Komiks characters Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father, James Ernest Curtis Smith got married to Ojales in 1982. The youngest brother Jasmine was also an actress. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 from a heart disease when she was 4 months of age.
