Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and record artist and television host has received numerous awards throughout her professional career. This includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Her nominations included two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows such as Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). She played the cult Komiks characters Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress as well as model, and a television host. Her achievements include a host of accolades in her profession. She has been nominated to win the eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards as well as for the Gawad Urian Award. She also appeared in 2014 as she portrayed the role of Komiks iconic Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father, James Ernest Curtis Smith got married to Ojales in 1982. The youngest brother Jasmine was also an actress. From their father's perspective, they had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 from a heart disease when she was 4 months of age.
