Candice King, a American actress rose to fame in the role of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Though Candice achieved fame in the field of acting, she initially started out her career as a musician. Her debut album, It's Always the Innocent People in United States, was released in 2009. The album features 14 songs, 12 of which on the album were composed by her. While working on her acting, she also guest starred in TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she was cast in the CW series The Vampire Diaries. The show became a household name quickly. Candice King received praise for brilliant acting and outstanding performances. The series ran 171 episodes in eight seasons. In 2018, she played her role in the spin-off series The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
